Elizabeth Barbaro holds an M.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from renowned Bank Street College of Education in New York.

She holds certification in both General Education and Special Education, and has also completed trainings in the Orton-Gillingham reading program, All Kinds of Minds, Stern Math, and Teachers College Writing Institute.

She trained in Collaborative Problem Solving directly with its creator, J. Stuart Ablon, Ph.D., of Massachusetts General Hospital.

Elizabeth also holds a 200-hour yoga teacher certificate from the Himalayan Institute and has completed a yoga for children certification program from YoKid of Washington DC and the National Children’s Yoga Conference.

A former public-school teacher in Greenwich Village and founding teacher of one of the first charter schools in New Jersey, Elizabeth has compiled 20 years' experience and respect in the field of education.

Elizabeth has relocated from New York City to Pittsburgh and has established her practice in Regent Square.
